SASCMA celebrates golden jubilee in a grand fashion in Surat

Surat : The Surat Art Silk Cloth Producers Co-operative Society Ltd (SASCMA) celebrated its golden anniversary in magnificent style in the presence of the who’s who of the textile business at the Surat International Exhibition and Convention Centre (SIECC) in Sarsana, Surat.

The dynamic president of SASCMA, Bharat Gandhi, welcomed the guests and presented them with wreaths and shawls in honor of the golden jubilee celebrations in Surat.

“I am grateful to the SASCMA’s prior presidents and members for their contributions to the organization’s growth and prominence in the Surat powerloom sector. SASCMA is run by and for the powerloom industry itself. “We have come a long way in our journey, and this is a golden moment for us,” said SASCMA President Bharat Gandhi.

Surat MP Mukesh Dalal stated, “If the textile industry prospers, so will the city of Surat. This is a special link between textiles and Surat. Surat’s ancillary industry has grown alongside the textile business.

Mihir Mehta, president of SASMIRA, who was invited as a special guest, stated, “Bharat Gandhi serves not only SASCMA, but the entire cloth industry.” He has a penchant for articulating matters involving the textile sector to ministers and authorities at the center.”

Vijay Mevawala, president of the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI), stated that the presence of SASCMA in Surat has boosted the textile industry. SASCMA has done grassroots work for the growth of the textile sector, with Bharat Gandhi as the driving force.”

Vasant Bachkaniwala, vice president of SASCMA, and Nikhil Madrasi, vice president of SGCCI, attended the ceremony.
