New Delhi : RenTrip, India’s most popular rental and travel service for motorcycles, cars, and bicycles, has just released its remarkable growth numbers for the fiscal year 2022-23. Despite the Covid crisis, the company has increased its revenue by 70-100% year over year. There are already over 2 lakh unique monthly visitors to the company’s website, and yearly revenues have reached a healthy Rs. 3.6 crore. The company’s mobile applications have also been released to great success, with over 5,000 installations in only a few of months.

Additionally, RenTrip has launched self-drive car rentals in 10+ cities across India, in addition to providing guided motorcycle tours, adventure events, and holidays. When it comes to bike rental services, RenTrip takes great pride in having the most popular website and largest user base.

RenTrip’s first business model was on providing bicycles for hire, which proved popular among tourists who wished to see more of India on two wheels. In 2019, the business began offering guided motorbike trips, and the reaction from thrill-seekers was overwhelming. RenTrip has expanded its services to include vehicle and bicycle rentals, as well as activity and vacation packages, since its inception. The business plans to expand into additional areas of the self-driving market, including “One Way Intercity Rentals,” camping, and more action-packed vacation packages.

Commissions from distributors are a novel source of income for the dominant rental brand. The firm was founded with an initial investment of about 1.5 lakhs and expanded solely via internal means, without the help of banks or investors. RenTrip’s competitive edge lies in the company’s capacity for rapid development making use of existing resources.

RenTrip stands out from the competition because of the wide network of bike and automobile rental stations it operates across India. With hundreds of local dealers participating on its web platform, RenTrip is able to provide a diverse selection of self-drive vehicles. RenTrip provides affordable bike rentals for any length of time, whether you need a bike for an hour, a day, a week, or even a month. Customers may hire bikes from RenTrip with the assurance that their trip is covered by insurance.

Agam Raghav, CEO and Co-Founder of RenTrip, said, “We are delighted to share our growth story with our customers, partners and stakeholders. We have come a long way since we started our journey in 2015 with just a few bikes. Today, we have a fleet of thousands of vehicles across India and a loyal customer base who trust us for their rental needs. We are grateful for their support and feedback, which have helped us improve our services and offerings. We are also thankful to our dealers, who have been our backbone and have enabled us to provide quality vehicles at affordable prices. We are confident that we will continue to grow and serve our customers better in the future.”

RenTrip was born out of the vision and passion of a brother and sister duo, Agam Raghav and Shailza Singh Bhadauriya, who wanted to share the joy of riding motorcycles in the scenic landscapes of North East India. Agam, an avid biker, realized the need for a pan-India platform to rent bikes easily and conveniently while travelling to different destinations. He teamed up with his brother-in-law Satyarth Singh, an Indian Air Force veteran, to create a plan for their startup in 2015.

The following year, they launched RenTrip officially from their registered office in Fatehpur, UP, but chose Guwahati as their operational base to cater to the North East region. The company grew steadily and welcomed two new directors, Shubham Singh and Shivkant Chauhan, who joined RenTrip after a memorable trip to Leh Ladakh with Agam in 2022. Today, RenTrip is a leading bike rental platform in India that provides customers with a variety of bikes and rental options across more than 65 cities.
