New Delhi (India): Millions of Indian gamers are actively engaged in esports competitions. Multiple aspects of India’s esports ecosystem—including tournament organisation, content production, team formation, and overall professionalism and organization—are rapidly maturing.

In order to compete at the highest professional level in both domestic and international tournaments, Reckoning Esports, a leading esports firm engaged in team and talent management, has focused on scouting undiscovered talent and providing them with a full training infrastructure, including coaches, analysts, and a training facility. The company has expanded its search for outstanding talent beyond India, to other Southeast Asian nations. Reckoning Esports has recruited and trained players from all over the world, including the Philippines, Malaysia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Singapore, Pakistan, and Vietnam.

Reckoning Esports and Kaspersky’s “Fearless Gaming” initiative is an effort to spread awareness and knowledge among prospective gamers. The “Fearless Gaming” project by Kaspersky Lab is a worldwide programme that helps esports groups and teaches gamers on cyber safety.

The Fearless Gaming initiative also aims to educate young people about the potential of the esports industry as a place for employment. Many Indian youth nowadays dream of making a living as a professional gamer, but they often underestimate the difficulty and dedication required to achieve their goal. The goal of Fearless Gaming’s college outreach programme is to provide aspiring esports players an accurate picture of the industry so they may make educated judgements about whether or not to enter the industry as a career.

Reckoning Esports has hosted workshops for aspiring athletes at numerous universities and colleges across India as part of this project. These institutions include IlT Kanpur, IIT Indore, IIT Ropar, IIITD, NIIT Neemrana, Gautam Buddha University Noida, G.L. Bajaj Institute, Noida, DY Patil, and many more. Over the course of five months, Reckoning Esports has met with kids from twenty-three different schools. In the next weeks and months, we want to expand our coverage to include many more academic institutions.

Reckoning Esports and Kaspersky have launched a campaign called “Fearless gaming” to educate the public about the dangers of cyberattacks on the gaming infrastructure utilised by professional esports players. Athletes in competitive electronic sports must be savvy to the dangers of today’s online environments and take measures to safeguard their equipment and gameplay.

Reckoning Esports’ CEO & MD Sharang Naicker remarked, “It’s been great meeting young people who want to make a career out of esports. We are dedicated to helping Indian esports players realise their full potential via our Fearless Gaming initiative. We support the idea that every esports player has what it takes to win, and we do everything in our power to make that happen. We’re thrilled to work with Kaspersky on this campaign, and we appreciate their assistance in spreading awareness about cybersecurity risks among gamers. We anticipate Fearless Gaming having a profound effect on the growth of the Indian esports industry.

Together, we are protecting not just the future of the game but also the hopes and aspirations of prospective esports players. Purshottam Bhatia, Kaspersky’s Head of B2C Sales for India, said, “We’re committed in redefining the game with Reckoning Esports in the journey of ‘Fearless Gaming,’ where cybersecurity meets career guidance.”

Reckoning Esports and Kaspersky’s dedication to India’s burgeoning esports scene is on full display with their Fearless Gaming campaign. The next generation of Indian esports winners will be greatly aided by the campaign as it expands and reaches more sportsmen.
