The Realme P4s 5G is the latest mid-range smartphone from Realme, bringing a distinctive design, a high-resolution AMOLED display and a large 8,000mAh battery to the Indian market.

Priced from Rs. 34,999, the phone sits in a competitive segment where brands are increasingly offering premium displays and high-performance processors. The Realme P4s 5G attempts to stand out with its design and display while delivering capable everyday performance.

Realme P4s 5G Price and Design

The Realme P4s 5G starts at Rs. 34,999 in India.

The smartphone measures 162.6 x 77.6 x 8.6mm and weighs 208 grams. It is available in Electric Cyan and Titanium Grey.

Realme has opted for an unconventional rear design featuring a square-shaped camera module, exposed faux-internal styling and decorative stripes across the upper section.

The design is clearly aimed at users who want a phone that looks different from more conventional mid-range smartphones.

The fibre-glass rear panel attracts fingerprints, while the flat metal frame provides a comfortable grip. However, the phone can feel somewhat heavy during extended one-handed use.

The device also carries IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Realme P4s 5G Display Is the Biggest Highlight

The biggest strength of the Realme P4s 5G is its display.

The smartphone features a 6.78-inch 1.5K Samsung M14 AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1,272 x 2,772 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz.

The Samsung M14 panel delivers sharp visuals, vibrant colours and good overall reproduction. Text remains crisp, while streaming movies, videos and short-form content feels particularly impressive for a phone in this price category.

The 144Hz refresh rate also makes scrolling and supported animations feel smooth.

Realme claims the display can reach brightness levels of up to 6,500 nits, helping maintain visibility in bright outdoor conditions.

For buyers who prioritise display quality, the Realme P4s 5G’s screen is arguably its strongest selling point.

Performance and Software

The Realme P4s 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra 4nm chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The phone runs Android 16 with Realme UI 7.0.

For everyday activities such as browsing, social media, streaming and multitasking, performance is generally smooth. However, occasional stutters and minor interface lags can appear.

Gaming performance is adequate for a mid-range smartphone. Games such as BGMI and Asphalt Legends run well at their default graphics settings.

Realme has also included a vapour-chamber cooling system with a 7,000 sq mm heat-dissipation area. Despite this, extended gaming sessions can make the phone noticeably warm, particularly around the camera area.

Realme P4s 5G Camera Performance

The smartphone features a dual rear camera system consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera.

There is also a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

The main camera produces good results in daylight, with solid detail and generally accurate colours. The phone also handles different shades well and keeps portrait skin tones relatively natural without excessive processing.

The ultrawide camera is useful for group photographs and wider scenes.

Low-light photography is less consistent. Images can contain more noise and lose detail, although Night mode can significantly brighten darker scenes.

The 16-megapixel selfie camera performs well in normal conditions and produces relatively natural skin tones.

8,000mAh Battery With 80W Charging

One of the major specifications of the Realme P4s 5G is its 8,000mAh battery.

Despite the large capacity, battery endurance does not fully match expectations. The phone can comfortably last around a day and a half under typical usage, but users might expect longer endurance from an 8,000mAh battery.

In testing, the phone reportedly achieved 21 hours and 43 minutes on the PCMark Work 3.1 battery test.

The device supports 80W wired fast charging, although charging speeds are not particularly impressive for the specification.

The phone reached around 44% in 30 minutes and approximately 81% after an hour, while a complete charge took roughly 1 hour and 27 minutes.

Realme P4s 5G Verdict

At Rs. 34,999, the Realme P4s 5G is a capable mid-range smartphone with one standout feature: its display.

The 6.78-inch 1.5K Samsung M14 AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate gives the phone a premium visual experience that is difficult to overlook.

Its distinctive design, capable performance, versatile daylight cameras and large battery further strengthen the package.

However, occasional software stutters, heating during extended gaming, the phone’s heavier build and underwhelming battery performance relative to its 8,000mAh capacity prevent it from being a perfect all-rounder.

For buyers who prioritise display quality and a distinctive design, the Realme P4s 5G is an interesting option in the sub-Rs. 35,000 segment. Those looking for stronger battery endurance, faster charging or better low-light photography may want to consider competing devices before making a decision.
