PM Modi’s US visit was momentous : SRTEPC Chairman

Mumbai : Shri Bhadresh Dodhia, chairman of SRTEPC (The Synthetic & Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council), praised the trip to the United States by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi.

“The visit of our Hon’ble PM to the US and the unprecedented response from the US President Joe Biden and the Americans clearly indicate that India is a growing power and on the rise,” remarked Shri Bhadresh Dodhia.

According to the Chairman, SRTEPC, the visit will be a “milestone” in the bilateral relationship between the two nations, leading to major investments in India and the expansion of commerce.

In addition to promoting the export of Manmade fibre textiles from India, SRTEPC is also responsible for promoting the export of technological textiles from India.   According to Shri Dodhia, the Council will shortly send a team from India to the United States in order to interact with leading American companies in an effort to boost exports of Manmade fibre textiles and technology textiles. The Council has been coordinating with the Indian Consulate in Mumbai to plan this visit. The United States, according to the Chairman of the SRTEPC, is a reliable supplier of the high-quality raw materials used in the production of technical textiles in India.

India’s textile and clothing exports to the United States are significant. According to Shri Dodhia, India’s textile and clothing exports would expand dramatically as a result of our honourable prime minister’s trip to the United States and the rest of the world.

According to Shri Bhadresh Dodhia, the visit of our Hon’ble PM is one of the few times in US-India history when there is a genuine possibility to move things to the next level.
