Gandhinagar | Gujarat — Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a packed one-day Gujarat tour on March 31, spanning major religious, industrial and infrastructure initiatives from Ahmedabad to Deesa. The visit is expected to boost development momentum across multiple sectors while drawing significant public attention across the state.
The Prime Minister will land in Ahmedabad at 9:45 am and proceed directly to Koba Tirth in Gandhinagar, where he will inaugurate the Samrat Samprati Museum. The museum has emerged as a major centre dedicated to Jain history and culture. Jain monk Padmasagar Surishwarji, who inspired the project, will remain present at the inauguration ceremony. Officials say the museum will help preserve and promote Jain heritage while attracting visitors and scholars from across the country.
At 12:30 pm, the Prime Minister will reach Sanand to inaugurate the Kaynes Semicon project by Kaynes Technology India Limited. The project is being seen as a major step toward strengthening Gujarat’s role in India’s semiconductor and electronics manufacturing ecosystem. Industry experts believe the initiative will generate employment, boost supply chains and reinforce the state’s ambition to become a leading electronics manufacturing hub.
Later in the day, PM Modi will arrive in Deesa at 4 pm and travel by road to a nearby village where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for multiple development projects before addressing a massive public gathering. Party leaders expect the rally to draw a large crowd from North Gujarat and neighbouring districts.
After completing the day’s engagements, the Prime Minister will depart for Assam at 5:30 pm. With security arrangements tightened and preparations in full swing, officials say the visit is set to accelerate Gujarat’s growth in religious tourism, manufacturing and infrastructure development.
