PharmaTech Expo 2023 launched to promote pharma innovation and technology
Over 400 exhibitors are showcasing a range of machinery and equipment for pharmaceutical manufacturing at the Expo.
Gandhinagar: The 15th annual PharmaTech Expo 2023 & LabTech Expo 2023 opened at the Helipad Exhibition Centre in Gandhinagar, India, showcasing the latest in pharmaceutical innovation, technology, and expertise on Friday.
Pharmaceutical production, processing technologies, pharmaceutical systems, and pharmaceutical services have been displayed at PharmaTech Expo 2023 & LabTech Expo 2023, the industry’s top platform.
The Drug Marketing & Manufacturing Association (DMMA) and PharmaTechnologyIndex.com have hosted a three-day exhibition through Sunday.
This year’s Expo is dedicated to the pharmaceutical industry as a whole, including the production of pharmaceutical machinery and equipment, pharmaceutical packaging, lab and analytical instruments, pharmaceutical formulations, and nutraceuticals. The exhibition has been expanded with the addition of a new pavilion devoted to pumps, valves, pipelines, and fittings.
Attendees included Sunanda Rajendran, Secretary General of the Indo-African Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Dr Viranchi Shah, National President of the Indian Drug Manufacturers Association (IDMA), Dr. HG Koshia, Commissioner of the state Food & Drugs Control Administration (FDCA), and Dr Ravi Kant Sharma, Deputy Drugs Controller (India) in the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
According to PharmaTechnologyindex.com Pvt Ltd Chairman Ramesh Shah: “Over the last decade and a half, PharmaTech Expo has evolved as the most renowned event in India fostering innovation and cooperation within the pharmaceutical sector. The Expo has expanded greatly over the years, and many of the most prominent names in the pharmaceutical sector will be present this year. With everyone’s help, this edition will pave the way for new connections to be made, new ideas to be shared, and new technologies to be adopted.
Over 400 exhibitors will be presenting a wide variety of pharmaceutical production technology and equipment over 25,000 square metres of exhibition area, an increase of 50% from the previous year’s event. More than 15,000 people are anticipated to attend, making it a successful event for both sellers and buyers.
The “Pragmatic Vision on Pharmaceutical and Allied Industry” seminars will include lively conversations between partner groups and exhibitors. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Ministry, National Small Industries Corporation Limited (NSIC), Enterprise Europe Network (EEPC) India, Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO), and The Council of EU Chambers of Commerce in India representatives will all be present and speaking at these events.
During the Expo, the Indo-Africa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IACCI) will be hosting a Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet at which buyers from countries including Ethiopia, Ghana, Namibia, and Uganda will be in attendance, strengthening international commercial partnerships. Meetings with African participants on a more personal level have also been scheduled.
Over the course of the Expo’s three days, professionals from the pharmaceutical equipment and pharmaceutical product industries will be able to meet and discuss current trends and future prospects in the field.
