Rajkot (Gujarat) [India], June 20: Netradeep Eye Hospital in Rajkot has entered into a joint venture agreement with Maxivision Eye Hospitals to become the largest player in the eyecare sector in Saurashtra.

From a modest hospital in Upleta in 1987, Netradeep Eye Hospital has grown to become the largest network of eye hospitals in Rajkot, with four locations led by Dr. Vasant Sapovadia, the region’s pioneer of best-in-class eye procedures and new advanced technologies.

Netradeep Eye Hospital has merged with Maxivision Eye Hospital, one of the major eye care businesses in south India with over 20 locations, and has rebranded as Netradeep Maxivision Eye Hospital. Beginning this month, the hospitals will operate under the new brand name.

“Over the years, I have been very pleased with the progress of Netradeep Eye Hospital and the high-quality eye care services we have been able to deliver to the people of Rajkot and nearby areas.” I intend to expand to additional locations in Saurashtra, to become the region’s largest eye care chain. Maxivision Group of Eye Hospitals has been swiftly expanding in other states, and we feel that their experienced management team will assist us in realising our vision of rapidly expanding in Saurashtra. The collaboration will also allow us to improve our services in Rajkot and abroad. “We are all thrilled to be embarking on the next stage of our growing adventure,” stated Dr. Sapovadia, Managing Director and Senior Surgeon at Netradeep Eye Hospital.

“At Maxivision, our philosophy is to establish good facilities with exceptional doctors and equipped with the best technologies to deliver economical yet high-quality eye care services to patients throughout multiple states,” stated Dr. GSK Velu, Chairman of Maxivision Eye Hospitals. We have effective collaboration models with Gujarat’s finest doctors and applaud their passion and vision. Our collaboration with Netradeep will aim to give the highest quality eye care services to individuals throughout Saurashtra.”

Sudheer, Group CEO of Maxivision Eye Hospitals, stated on the occasion, “We are really glad to cooperate with Dr. Vasant Sapovadia and his team.” We want to improve patient care services in all of its hospitals and add more world-class facilities shortly. A team of dynamic specialists will oversee patient care operations, excellent clinical management, and regional expansion.”

The immediate goal of the joint venture is to expand Netradeep Maxivision Eye Hospitals to Morbi, Bhuj, Jamnagar, Upleta, and Porbandar to become the region’s largest eye care network.

“We are also working on cooperation models in other key towns in Gujarat, such as Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, and Bhavnagar, intending to become the state’s largest eye care chain,” Mr. Sudheer stated.

All of Netradeep Eye Hospital’s existing hospitals are outfitted with cutting-edge technology and full diagnostic capabilities. In these clinics, Dr. Sapovadia and his team of eight doctors see 200 patients per day. Advanced cataract surgeries, robotic cataract surgeries, Lasik laser, smile refractive surgeries, contoura vision treatment, treatment for diabetic retina, glaucoma, cornea, paediatric eye care, and other services are available.
