SuratTo commemorate International Women’s Day, Taal Group, in association with CIOFF India, is set to host Nayika 4.0 at the Amphitheatre of the Science Centre on March 22. This grand event aims to celebrate the achievements of women from diverse fields and showcase India’s rich cultural heritage through mesmerizing performances.

Taal Group, founded by renowned architect and choreographer Krutika Shah, has been instrumental in promoting Indian folk dance worldwide. With performances in eight countries and the distinction of bringing the first International Folk Festival to Surat, the group has become a cultural beacon. Women aged 10 to 60 actively participate in the group’s folk dance performances, fostering a deep connection with traditional arts.

The highlight of Nayika 4.0 will be a spectacular folk dance performance by Krutika Shah and her Taal Group on the theme of Shri Krishna Leela. This spiritual and artistic portrayal promises to captivate audiences with its vibrancy and devotion.

Accompanying this will be a melodious song rendition by Vaishaliben Gohil and a special dance presentation by the Zoroastrian Community, showcasing their interpretation of Shri Krishna Leela. The event will also feature a fashion catwalk, where artists will adorn exquisite Tanishq jewelry and elegant sarees, further enhancing the cultural grandeur of the evening.

Nayika 4.0 will felicitate women who have made significant contributions in various fields. The awards aim to acknowledge their relentless efforts and inspire future generations to pursue excellence.

Adding to the significance of the event, Gujarat BJP President and Union Minister for Water Resources and Education, CR Paatil, will grace the occasion as the chief guest. Under his guidance, Taal Group will participate in the Jal Shakti Abhiyan and mark World Water Day on March 22, promoting water conservation awareness.

The event is open to all residents of Surat, inviting them to witness a night of art, culture, and recognition of outstanding women. Nayika 4.0 stands as a testament to the city’s growing cultural landscape and unwavering support for women’s empowerment.
