Surat : Nature Club Surat (NCS), a prominent non-governmental organization (NGO) headquartered in Surat, has been conferred with the esteemed ‘Prakriti Sanrakshak Award 2023.’ This accolade recognizes NCS’s exceptional dedication and achievements in the sphere of environmental conservation, bird protection, and fostering a deeper connection with nature in Gujarat.
The ‘Prakriti Sanrakshak Award’ honors both organizations and individuals across Gujarat who demonstrate unwavering commitment and significant contributions to environmental preservation and conservation efforts.
Distinguished personalities devoted to environmental causes from various corners of Gujarat were carefully selected for this prestigious recognition. Each awardee, hailed as an environmental champion, was presented with the ‘Prakriti Sanrakshak Award 2023’ along with a grant of Rs 11,000. The ceremony witnessed the august presence of revered figures such as Padma Bhushan Pujya Sant Swami Sachchidanandji, Governor of Uttar Pradesh Anandiben Patel, SRK chairman Govindbhai Dholakia, and Realtor Lavji Badshah.
