Mystery Surrounds the Tragic Death of 25-Year-Old Surat Resident

Surat : A shroud of mystery engulfs the tragic demise of a 25-year-old youth, Suraj Dasrath Gaikwad, whose lifeless body was discovered in a creek near Gandhi Kutir in Surat on Thursday.

The young man, a resident of Gokulnagar society in Bhatar, had gone missing on Wednesday afternoon, sparking a frantic search by his family. Their efforts ultimately led them to file a missing person report with the local police.

Suraj Gaikwad, a daily wage laborer, left his home on Wednesday morning and never returned. The family spent the entire day searching for him but to no avail. On Thursday, they received the devastating news from the police that a body had been recovered from the Gandhi Kutir creek. A subsequent investigation confirmed the body’s identity as that of Suraj Gaikwad.

Originally hailing from Maharashtra, the 25-year-old had been residing in the Gokulnagar society in the Bhatar area of Surat, where he lived with his parents and a brother. Suraj was the family’s financial pillar, supporting them by taking on various odd jobs in the city.

Currently, the police have conducted a post-mortem examination, and a comprehensive investigation is underway to unravel the circumstances surrounding Suraj’s untimely death. While the details of the youth’s demise remain a mystery, the police have registered a case of murder, intensifying their efforts to solve this troubling case.
