Surat : The Satya Shodhak Sabha (SSS) has challenged Bageshwar Baba alias Dhirendra Shashtri to prove his miracles and he will be given with a substantial monetary during his two-day visit to Surat.

Dhirendra Shastri alias Bageshwar Baba is hosting a two-day long ‘Divya Darbar’ at Nilgiri circle in Limbayat, Surat on May 26 and May 27, respectively where he is expected to hold a roadshow and more than 2 lakh people are likely to participate.

The posters and cut-outs of Divya Darbar of the self-proclaimed god man  has the pictures of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, and BJP Gujarat president CR Paatil. BJP MLA Sangeeta Patil is placed prominently in the poster in the larger image alongside Bageshwar Baba alias Pandit Dhirendra Shashtri.

According to SSS, the concept of miracles in religion raises concerns about their exploitative nature. It highlights the idea that individuals who claim to perform miracles often use them to consolidate their dominance and suppress opposition. The focus is on a specific individual, Bageshwar Baba, who is accused of using miracles to increase his influence and counteract rationalist thinkers and social activists.

Bageshwar Baba manipulates the fear of endangering Sanatan Dharma (eternal religion) to gain support from believers who seek quick solutions through miracles. The opposition, represented by Satyashodhak Sabha, Surat, challenges Bageshwar Baba to prove his miracles and offers a substantial monetary reward. It also calls upon the state to take action against such exploitative activities.

SSS has questioned the authenticity of claims made by religious figures and emphasizes the need for rational thinking and societal well-being.
