Maha Guv Bhagat Singh Koshiyari honors Dr. Vikram Kamat as ‘Iconic Personality in Hospitality’

Mumbai : Bhagat Singh Koshiyari, Honorable Governor of the state of Maharashtra, recognised Dr. Vikram Kamat, founder and chairman of the Vitskamats Group, as a “Iconic Personality in Hospitality” for his outstanding work in the hospitality industry.

Restaurants by the side of the road play an important role in providing sustenance and a place to clean up for people on the road, whether they’re there on purpose or not. Despite the abundance of competition, “Kamats Restaurant” has maintained its popularity over the past eighty years.

The Food Connoisseurs India Convention recognised Kamats Restaurant as the “Best Highway Restaurant Chain of the Year” this year (West India Edition).

When asked how he felt about receiving such an esteemed award, Dr. Vikraam Kamat replied modestly, “Since birth, I have been surrounded by food and drink, and I have always known that this is where I belonged. A prestigious award like this one from the Honorable Governor of the state of Maharashtra, Shri Bhagat Singh Koshiyari, is a great validation of my life’s work.
