This year’s campaign was based on the theme #unitedagainstdrugs. The Kolkata Police reached out to the maximum number of people in Kolkata by organizing awareness rallies across the city. Sourav Ganguli, BCCI president was invited as the chief guest at the awareness campaign.
Other sports personalities like Laxmirattan Sukla, and Alvitoh D’Kunha were also present in the campaign. Famous faces like Dev, Abir Chattopadhyay, Debleena Dutta, and Anindya Chattopadhyay from the Tollywood industry were also seen in this campaign.
After the flag hoisting event, a cycle rally was also organised to reach maximum people. Laxmiratan Sukla and Abhisekh Dalmia were seen in the cycle rally along with the students who participated.
