Mumbai, Maharashtra – In a profound blend of tradition, science, and compassion, renowned music therapist Anubhuti Goswami brought the healing power of Indian classical music to the sacred precincts of Ramachandra Puramatha through a special Cow Care Music Therapy session.

The initiative, which explores the therapeutic effects of music on cows, received the divine blessings of Shankaracharya Raghaveshwara Bharati Ji, who deeply appreciated Goswami’s pioneering efforts in expanding the scope of music therapy beyond human beings.

During the session, Goswami performed soothing alaaps and compositions based on Ragas Yaman and Bhairav—ragas known in ancient Indian musicology for promoting calmness, emotional balance, and inner harmony.

Caregivers at the gaushala observed a visible positive impact on the cows, noting their relaxed behavior, reduced restlessness, and a heightened sense of emotional receptivity. Remarkably, the cows responded gently to the healing vibrations—a testament to the subtle yet powerful communication between music and living beings.

Sharing her thoughts, Anubhuti Goswami said, “Animals are incredibly sensitive to energy and vibration. When Indian classical music is rendered with intention and devotion, it transforms into a healing offering. Watching the cows respond with such grace and tranquility was truly humbling. This is more than therapy—it’s a spiritual dialogue of care and reverence.”

This experience is part of Goswami’s broader mission to integrate the ancient healing science of Indian music into daily life—not just for humans, but for animals, nature, and the environment. At Ramachandra Puramatha, she also conducted direct music healing on cows, to which they responded with visible calm and emotional ease.

Rooted in empathy and ancient wisdom, her work reawakens a sense of intuitive connection with all life forms. Through this initiative, Anubhuti Goswami continues to inspire a deeper return to holistic and compassionate living—proving that music, when offered with love and devotion, transcends boundaries and unites all beings.
