Gujarat : Swarrnim University hosts bootcamp for budding entrepreneurs with Startup Flora and GUJCOST

Ahmedabad: The Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University on Wednesday organised a bootcamp for budding entrepreneurs in association with Startup Flora (Acolyte Technologies) with the support of Gujarat Council of Science and Technology (GujCOST). It was held at the Adalaj campus of Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University.

Founders of startups operating in different sectors attended the program for knowledge enhancement.

Dr. Ragin Shah, Provost, Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University delivered the inaugural address and emphasised on developing a healthy startup ecosystem, collaboration, and market validation.

Following that, Mr Jiten Thakkar, Incubation Manager, Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University, gave a detailed presentation on the ideas to scale up startups through incubation support. He also talked at length about the government schemes that support startups.

Mr Shwetank Soni, Founder, Startupflora, also shared his entrepreneurial journey. He also emphasised on the importance of business and the attitude.

The idea behind the event was to provide valuable training and mentorship to budding entrepreneurs, equipping them with the essential skills and knowledge needed to succeed in a competitive business landscape.

Bootcamps are also vital platforms for networking opportunities and access to funding sources, which in turn will aid startups in their entrepreneurial journey. “The programme at Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University will also help foster a strong entrepreneurial mindset and encourage innovative thinking, helping participants develop the resilience and adaptability needed to navigate the challenges of starting,” said a Swarrnim University spokesperson.
