Gujarat : Surat Student David Bundela Shines at National Powerlifting Competition
Bundela faced off against over 350 competitors from across India, emerging victorious with a gold medal in the 135-kilogram deadlift and a silver medal in the 275-kilogram powerlifting competition.
Surat : David Bundela, a class 11th student at Metas Seventh Day Adventist School in Surat, has brought home prestigious accolades from the IPL National Powerlifting competition. The event took place on Sunday at the RIG ground, Rander Gymkhana in Surat.
Bundela faced off against over 350 competitors from across India, emerging victorious with a gold medal in the 135-kilogram deadlift and a silver medal in the 275-kilogram powerlifting competition.
Representing the state of Gujarat, Bundela’s impressive performance has drawn praise from both his school and the CNI Christ Church authorities.
“We are incredibly proud of David’s remarkable achievement,” said a representative of the Seventh Day Adventist School. “His dedication and talent are an inspiration to us all.”
“I’m thrilled to have brought this honor to my school and my state. This victory is the result of hard work and the unwavering support of my coaches and family” said David Bundela.
