Gujarat : PM Modi to interact with FinTech Leaders at ‘Leadership Forum’ in GIFT City
Informing the media on Thursday, Tapan Ray, GIFT city MD, said, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with leaders of global companies. These company representatives will be sharing a brief vision their future projects. Representatives from prominent firms like Google, IBM, Accenture, Capgemini, NYSE Group, Amazon Pay, NASDAQ, Stonex, Wells Fargo, and Standard & Poor’s (S&P), will remain present at the event."
Ahmedabad : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with leaders of leading global companies at the ‘Global FinTech Leadership Forum’ organised by the Gandhinagar International Finance Tec (GIFT) city on January 10.

Representatives from prominent firms like Google, IBM, Accenture, Capgemini, NYSE Group, Amazon Pay, NASDAQ, Stonex, Wells Fargo, and Standard & Poor’s (S&P), will remain present at the event.”
Ray also informed about a seminar that will be held on the next day, January 11 titled ‘GIFT City – An Inspiration for Modern India’ which will be inaugurated by the Finance Minister of India, Nirmala Sitharaman.
The seminar will see panel discussions on themes like ‘Designing the Frameworks for the Future of Finance – Role of International Financial Centres’, ‘The Right Connect of Tech and Fin – Emerging Trends Globally’ and ‘Urban Resilience: Building Sustainable and Future-Proof Cities.’
“Although GIFT City is newly established, it has made great strides toward becoming a preferred destination in international finance and it will play a crucial role in making India more accessible to global financial markets,” said Ray. “GIFT City is on par with other international jurisdictions due to factors such as taxation and ease of doing business,” he added.
The Global FinTech Leadership Forum will take place at the GIFT City Club, while the Seminar on GIFT City will be at the Main Convention Hall at the Mahatma Mandir in the state capital.
The GIFT city seminar will be attended by the Gujarat finance minister, Kanubhai Desai, Chairman of GIFT City Hasmukh Adhia, and Chairman of IFSCA K. Rajaraman.
