Rajkot : The Surendranagar police are investigating the suspicious deaths of a mother and son found in their house in the Bhimnath society of Limbdi town on Tuesday. The bodies of 33-year-old Sonal Chandrakant Ladola and her 11-year-old son Kishan were recovered in a mutilated state, raising concerns of foul play.
District Superintendent of Police Dr. Girish Pandya, along with senior officers, forensic experts, and dog squads, rushed to the scene to initiate the investigation. While the initial probe suggests the possibility of homicide, the exact cause of death remains unclear.
Family members of the deceased have cast suspicion on the husband, alleging his alcohol addiction and potential involvement in the crime using a sharp weapon. However, the police haven’t found concrete evidence to substantiate these claims.
“There has been a stir in the community after the discovery of the bodies,” said Dr. Pandya. “We are working diligently to gather evidence and apprehend the accused. We understand the family’s pain and are committed to bringing them justice.”
The family has reportedly refused to accept the bodies until the husband is arrested, adding another layer of complexity to the case. The police are currently exploring all possible angles and conducting thorough investigations to unravel the truth behind this tragic incident.
