Gujarat : Indian Road Congress session in Gandhinagar
Students, scientists from NIT, IIT, engineering colleges and universities, research organizations, R & D officials, consultants, civic society organizations, contractors will attend various sessions.
Gandhinagar : The three-day 82nd annual session of the Indian Road Congress will be held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat from December 2.
Union Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari and Gujarat chief minister Bhupendra Patel will be among those who would be addressing the IRC.
Students, scientists from NIT, IIT, engineering colleges and universities, research organizations, R & D officials, consultants, civic society organizations, contractors will attend various sessions.
According to information, more than 4,000 engineers are expected to attend the three-day event.
The discussions will cover a wide gamut of subjects like roads, bridges, sea-links, mountain roads, tunnels and infrastructure projects.
Uttarakhand tunnel collapse and how 41 miners were safely rescued is also likely to come up for discussion.
A large number of projects have been commissioned under Gadkari as the union road and transport minister.
