Ahmedabad : A blaze erupted earlier Tuesday morning in the server room of an IT company situated on the 6th floor of Ananta Abode & Ananta Space, located on Jagatpur Road in Ahmedabad. Swift action by the Ahmedabad Fire Brigade averted potential disaster as four fire brigade vehicles rushed to the scene, ensuring the safe evacuation of staff and preventing any loss of life.

Thankfully, due to the quick evacuation efforts by the company’s staff, no casualties were reported as the fire brigade swiftly swung into action. Utilizing effective firefighting techniques, the fire brigade successfully contained the blaze and implemented measures to quell the billowing smoke that filled the air.

Upon receiving distress calls, the Ahmedabad Fire Brigade Control Room promptly sprang into action, mobilizing resources to combat the fire raging within the complex near Jagatpur Char Road. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered the server room of the IT company ablaze, prompting them to deploy a water cannon to suppress the flames.

Two officers from the Chandkheda fire station, Anirudh Singh Gadhvi and Apoorva Patel, exhibited exemplary courage and efficiency as they raced to the scene. Even en route, they utilized video calls to advise individuals on utilizing the complex’s firefighting system, contributing significantly to the rapid containment of the fire.

Station Officer Anirudh Singh Gadhvi confirmed that the flames were extinguished with the assistance of the complex’s installed fire suppression system, preventing any loss of life. The fire, believed to have originated in the AC and server rooms of the IT company, was swiftly brought under control, averting a potential catastrophe.

In the chaotic aftermath, offices within the complex were evacuated promptly to ensure the safety of all occupants. Additionally, with two to three hospitals located within the vicinity, measures were taken to evacuate patients, ensuring their well-being amidst the unfolding emergency.
