GSTTA to conduct a seminar for aspiring umpires from Gujarat

Surat (Gujarat) [India], March 29: The Gujarat State Table Tennis Association (GSTTA) will be celebrating World Table Tennis Day to felicitate the top players and coaches who have brought laurels to the state by winning medals at the international and national championships in the last three years on April 6.

Official sources said the President of GSTTA, Vipul Mittra, IAS will be presenting a cash award of Rs 5 lakh to Bhavinaben Patel for winning the silver medal at the Tokyo Paralympics Games 2020. The top players and coaches who have won medals at the international and national championships during the year 2019-20, 2020-21, and 2021-22 will be felicitated on the occasion of World Table Tennis Day.

The annual awards function will be held at the Roof Top Banquet at Rajpath Club Limited on the SG Highway in Ahmedabad on April 6.
