Ahmedabad : In a remarkable gesture of appreciation, the Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) and Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB) recognized Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi for their unwavering support of the diamond industry. The event, organised in collaboration with the Gem & Jewellery National Relief Foundation (GJNRF) at the Bharat Diamond Bourse, underscored Gujarat’s pivotal role in cementing India’s reputation as a global diamond hub.

The gathering brought together prominent industry leaders, who lauded the Gujarat government’s policies and initiatives that have enabled the diamond sector to thrive. Vipul Shah, Chairman of GJEPC, highlighted the importance of the state’s partnership with the industry. “Under the CM’s visionary leadership, the sector has continued to flourish, becoming a cornerstone of India’s gem and jewellery exports and a vital driver of economic growth. The proactive policies, availability of skilled labor, and state-of-the-art facilities have placed India at the forefront of the global diamond market. The industry is poised for even greater achievements through continued collaboration and innovation,” he said.
