G20 YEA Summit 2023 to Showcase Youth Entrepreneurship in New Delhi

New Delhi : In July of 2023, Young Indians will organise the G20 YEA Summit in New Delhi with the goal of bolstering and promoting the contributions of young entrepreneurs to economic development, job creation, innovation, and social change. Over 800 game-changers from 40+ countries are scheduled to attend, making for a rich environment of learning, networking, and information exchange.

The Group of Twenty (G20), which includes the world’s 20 largest countries, plays a leading role in formulating policies that define the international scene. This summit promises to be a thrilling exploration of the issues facing the G20 nations and their global significance, from fascinating talks on economic growth, trade, and financial stability to gripping insights into sustainability, digitalization, inclusion, and equal opportunity.

In 2010, as a parallel project to the G20 conference, a worldwide network of over 500,000 young entrepreneurs from G20 member nations and organisations supporting them came together to form the G20 Young Entrepreneurs’ Alliance (G20 YEA). Access to capital, education and training, mentoring and networking, regulatory change, and globalisation are just some of the topics that the coalition is concentrating on. The goal of the G20 YEA is to equip the next generation of business leaders and innovators by facilitating connections among young entrepreneurs, assisting them with resources, and representing their needs and concerns.

National Chairman of Yi Dilip Krishna claims that India is the third biggest start-up economy in the world and is seeing fast growth as a startup and entrepreneurial hub. India has the world’s youngest working population and the world’s fifth biggest economy, making it a country of opportunity. The Young Indians are pleased to announce that India will be hosting the G20 Young Entrepreneurs’ Alliance event this year.

The annual summit sees members from 20+ nations gather to exchange ideas, share best practices, and develop recommendations for government policymakers. These recommendations are then presented to the G20 leaders during their summit, with the goal of influencing policy decisions and creating an enabling environment for youth entrepreneurship. In addition, this year we will be joined by many guest nations to make this a truly global event.

‘Hum’ is the credo for the G20 India Summit 2023. Hum in Hindi means togetherness. Hum stands for humanity. Symbolic of interdependence, in global languages it connotes a universal chant, resonating in unison. Yi, as a part of the Young Entrepreneurs Alliance, wants to celebrate this power of oneness, so that together, the alliance can usher in positive transformation, peaceful co-existence and harmony.

Yi recognises entrepreneurship as a key element of transformation for India heading into the next decade of growth. Young Indians has a vision to be recognized for creating an environment that promotes entrepreneurship as a tool for developing India. Through mentorship and knowledge delivery, Yi is creating an environment to prepare school and college students for entrepreneurship. Programs that enable entrepreneurs to scale are also executed regularly.
