Surat : To feast using teeth that sparkle like diamonds, one must venture to Surat, the diamond capital of the world. This city has gained global recognition as the largest manufacturer of cut and polished diamonds, and has achieved a coveted position in the international market for its bling jewelry. Among the dazzling designs are gold and silver ‘dentures’ adorned with natural diamonds, lab-grown diamonds, and moissanite.

Dentures set with diamonds may cost up to Rs 25 lakh and are available in 10k, 14k, and 18k gold. More than 2,000 diamonds adorn the denture’s 16 artificial gold and silver teeth. These diamond dentures, like regular dentures, are simply detachable and may be worn without the hassle of dealing with a ring, necklace, or earrings.

These diamond false teeth are available in both standard and bespoke meenakari and design options. Tattoos on the teeth are popular, and many clients request designs like pistols, AK-47s, butterflies, and hearts.

The founder and CEO of SS Jewellers, Shreyans Shah, stated, “Most of our customers for diamond dentures are from the United States, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Canada, and Australia.” Dentures made from wax and ceramic are sent to us by our clients, and we mould them to their exact specifications.

Size, kind of metal, and number and size of stones all affect the final price. Diamond dentures often weigh between 25 and 40 grammes and have two thousand individual stones, as mentioned by Shah.
