Surat | Gujarat—-An expensive car belonging to the diamond city Surat’s realty king, Lavji Dungarbhai Daliya alias Lavji Badshah was burnt to ashes after a sudden fire broke out due to the technical reasons near Chosath Jogani Mata mandir road at Khatodara community hall.
Surat businessman Lavji Daliya, known as Lavji Badshah, bought India’s first Tesla Cybertruck, a limited edition Foundation Series model, importing it from the US via Dubai and creating significant buzz in India as it’s the first of its kind in the country. He acquired it for his son, a car enthusiast, with paperwork and delivery handled through Tesla’s US showrooms and Dubai before shipping to Surat.
Fire department sources said that a Kia Carnival car caught fire at Chosath Jogni Mata Mandir Road near Khatodara Community Hall, creating chaos. The fire was under control within minutes. However, the entire car was gutted in the fire. While the car driver escaped unhurt in the fire. It has been revealed that the burnt car belongs to well-known Surat businessman Lavji Badshah.
According to the information received, a 60 lakh Kia Carnival car (GJ – 05- RQ- 0731) was passing on the road near Jogni Mata Temple near Khatodara Community Hall. Meanwhile, a fire suddenly started. Due to which the driver immediately got out. Following the fire, people around rushed and tried to control the fire with extinguishers. Along with this, the fire department was also informed. The personnel of Majura and Udhna fire stations controlled the fire of the car in a few minutes.
Expensive car completely burnt out
An expensive car like a 60 lakh Kia Carnival has been completely burnt out in this fierce fire. Fortunately, there were no casualties as the people in the car got out on time. However, it is not yet known what caused the fire in the car. Initially, a short circuit is believed to be the cause, but the fire department is conducting further investigation.
Badshah’s Kia Carnival car was sent for annual service and the incident occurred when the company employee took the car away after the service. No one was injured.
