Ahmedabad, Gujarat – The aspirations of a better life in Europe turned into a nightmare for seven individuals from Gujarat, who were unceremoniously deported from Dubai and detained upon arrival at Mumbai International Airport. Their dreams were built on a foundation of lies: counterfeit Schengen visas, supplied by a shadowy local agent, intended to grant them illegal entry and settlement across 29 European nations. This dramatic bust has ripped open the lid on a sophisticated human trafficking operation, sending shockwaves through immigration and law enforcement agencies.

The alarm was first raised in Dubai, leading to the immediate deportation of the seven. Upon their landing in Mumbai, Immigration Officer Vishnu Sawant, vigilant during arrival inspections, confirmed the red flag. “During inspection, I discovered that seven individuals were deported from Dubai with visas flagged by Dubai immigration,” Sawant told The Times of India, detailing the initial alert that led to their handover to local police for further questioning.

Among the detained were Kaushikkumar Patel and Arthkumar Patel, whose interrogation quickly unraveled the audacious scheme. Their perilous journey, it emerged, was meticulously orchestrated by an agent identified only as Kisan, operating out of Gujarat. A police officer from Sahar police station, deeply involved in the ongoing investigation, revealed to The Times of India: “Their travel was planned by local agent, Kisan, from Gujarat. They were provided with tourist visas and fake Schengen visas. During interrogation, they revealed the agent provided them with details to travel to European nations and settle. The team is now tracking the agent who created the fake visas.”

The fraudulent nature of the documents became glaringly apparent upon detailed examination. The visas, purported to be Luxembourg Employment Schengen Visas, were found to be missing crucial security features, confirming their counterfeit status and prompting the Sahar police to take immediate custodial action. The promise made by the agents was alluring yet dangerously deceptive: “Further interrogation indicated that agents provided them with the visas and assured them that they could settle in any of the 29 Schengen countries without needing permission for stay and could easily find employment,” explained the immigration officer. This assurance of seamless entry and employment is a hallmark of such fraudulent schemes, preying on the desperation of those seeking opportunities abroad.

This incident has ignited serious concerns within security circles regarding the widespread operations of such deceptive networks. As highlighted by *Business Today*, authorities are now intensifying their focus on dismantling these intricate rackets by meticulously tracing the source of these counterfeit documents and bringing the orchestrators to justice.

Sahar police have officially confirmed that a full-scale manhunt is underway for agent Kisan, the alleged mastermind behind these fake documents. While the investigation is progressing rapidly, detailed outcomes are still awaited.
