Eatopia's Honey Jam set a new standard with their excellent product.
New Delhi : About 5,000 food and beverage (F&B) exhibitors from 125 countries at the 28th annual Gulfood show, which took place in Dubai from February 19-23, 2024. Eatopia Honey Jam was recognised as the “Most Innovative Product” in the Best Sauces, Condiments, and Preserves category at the expo.
The honour was justly bestowed. Our mission is to improve people’s health through the use of Indigenous Indian superfoods in novel snack products. With Eatopia Honey Jam, we’ve taken a step in the right direction towards our goal of making snacking a virtuous pastime. Recognition on a worldwide stage, among established companies, is no small effort. “We will continue to place India on the global map by changing the world of snacks,” said Jacob George, CEO & Director of McGill Foods.
Jams typically include the most refined sugar, the least quantity of fruit, and a plethora of additives and preservatives. Although while children enjoy jam, its regular use has been linked to health problems such as childhood obesity, high blood sugar, and poor oral hygiene.
Eatopia’s Honey Jam set a new standard with their excellent product.
In comparison to other companies, Eatopia Honey jams’ initial ingredient is not sugar but rather 70% exotic berries. To sweeten our product, we utilise honey, which is a natural and healthier alternative to processed sugar. We don’t use any synthetic ingredients like dyes, flavours, or preservatives in our jams. According to McGill Foods’ CEO and Director, Jacob George, the product is perfect for parents concerned about their children’s health thanks to the combination of real berries and honey.
The theme of the exhibition, The Future of the F&B Industry, aptly resonated with the ethos of Eatopia. At Eatopia, we are building a future of snacks devoid of any evil ingredients and high content of superfood ingredients.
