Chitrax, Frenaz to lead Gujarat in National TT

Gandhidham: Chitrax Bhatt will lead Gujarat’s men’s table tennis team which will take part in the 84th Senior National and Inter State Table Tennis Championships 2022 to be held in Jammu from March 20 to 27.

The Women’s team, which will be led by Frenaz Chipia, consists of Filzah Fatema Kadri, Pratha Pawar, Aafrien Murad and Riya Jayswal.

Mahipalsinh Gohil is appointed the coach of the women’s team.

Gujarat’s star paddlers Harmeet Desai, Manav Thakkar and Krittwika Sinha Roy will turn up for PSPB while Manush Shah will represent RBI.

A nine-day pre-national camp from 10th to 17th March was organised by Gujarat State Table Tennis Association and supported by Sports Authority of Gujarat and Kutch District Table Tennis Association at Gandhidham.
