CC Sheth commerce college hosts workshop on entrepreneurship

Ahmedabad : CC Sheth Commerce College, part of the Navgujarat Group of Colleges, recently hosted a workshop on Entrepreneurship Development. The workshop was conducted by Mr Sandip Patel, Assistant Project Leader at The Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED). The workshop was designed to inspire and equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to venture into the entrepreneurial world.

Dr Kuljeet Kaur opened the session with a warm welcome address and introduced the speaker. The workshop covered several key areas, including the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, government support initiatives for startups, and practical strategies for turning innovative ideas into successful businesses.

The session began with a presentation on entrepreneurial basics, followed by a detailed overview of schemes and resources of the Government of Gujarat, such as funding, mentorship, and training programmes. He further outlined a clear roadmap to help students take their ideas from inception to execution. Real-life success stories of entrepreneurs from Gujarat were shared to inspire participants.

Principal Dr DS Mistry delivered the vote of thanks, The workshop was insightful for participants who learnt about the resources and opportunities available to pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations.
