Popular YouTuber and streamer CarryMinati (Ajey Nagar) has successfully raised over ₹13 lakh through an 8-hour charity livestream to support flood relief efforts in Assam.
The fundraising campaign was hosted on his gaming and livestreaming channel, CarryisLive, bringing together thousands of viewers from across the country to contribute towards helping families affected by the devastating floods.
CarryMinati also made a personal contribution of ₹2.3 lakh, while British YouTuber and creator KSI donated ₹2.5 lakh in support of the relief initiative. The livestream saw an overwhelming response from fans and fellow creators, highlighting the power of online communities coming together for a humanitarian cause.
The fundraiser comes as Assam continues to battle severe flooding, with around 4.45 lakh people affected across multiple districts. Floods have damaged homes, roads, agricultural land, and critical infrastructure, forcing thousands of residents into relief camps.
This is not the first time CarryMinati has stepped forward during a natural disaster. He has previously organized fundraising campaigns for the Assam and Bihar floods, Kerala floods, Cyclone Fani, the Australian bushfires, and COVID-19 relief, using his massive online platform to mobilize support.
The latest charity stream stands as another example of how digital creators can make a meaningful impact beyond entertainment. Thanks to the generosity of CarryMinati, KSI, and thousands of viewers who donated and shared the livestream, vital relief efforts in Assam will receive much-needed support.
A heartfelt salute to CarryMinati, KSI, and every donor whose contribution will help bring relief to flood-affected families in Assam.
