New Delhi [India], February 19: Café Swasthya, a wellness-focused café rooted in Ayurvedic principles and conscious living, has opened its second outlet in South Delhi. The new café launched on January 20, 2026, at Kailash Colony, marking the brand’s next phase of growth after a year of steady engagement and expansion.

Spread across approximately 1,400 sq. ft. with a seating capacity of 43, the Kailash Colony outlet carries forward Café Swasthya’s signature design philosophy—one that draws from India’s architectural heritage and places sustainability at its core. Designed as an extension of the brand’s first café, the space offers a serene, grounded, and thoughtfully curated environment.

The interiors feature a handcrafted bamboo ceiling inspired by traditional bamboo thatched roofs, chosen for its renewability, strength, and natural temperature-regulating properties. Teakwood furniture adds warmth and durability to the space, while jute-matted seating highlights the use of biodegradable, locally manufactured natural fibres. Rajasthani upholstery with Charbagh-inspired floral prints brings colour and cultural richness to the seating areas.

A defining element of the café is its signature mud wall, inspired by sand plaster techniques. Serving as both a visual anchor and a storytelling surface, it showcases Café Swasthya and Butterfly Ayurveda’s curated range of teas, cookies, and wellness products. Terracotta lighting, rooted in India’s architectural traditions since the Indus Valley Civilisation, brings a soft, calming glow to the café.

In addition to the thoughtfully designed space, Café Swasthya has also significantly evolved its food and beverage offerings over the past year. Building on consistent positive feedback around both food quality and service, the brand has revised its menu extensively to reflect changing customer preferences while staying rooted in its wellness philosophy. The updated menu now includes refreshing coolers and shakes, along with hearty Indian classics such as the traditional Thali and a selection of Indian desserts.

Responding directly to customer demand, Café Swasthya has also introduced multigrain pancakes, expanding its breakfast and all-day dining options. The menu further features special gluten-free offerings, including dishes like an amaranth salad, reinforcing the café’s focus on inclusivity, nourishment, and mindful eating.

The second outlet follows a year of meaningful milestones for Café Swasthya. In 2025, the brand participated in the Asia Tea & Coffee Expo, where it introduced its offerings and shared the story behind Café Swasthya and Butterfly Ayurveda. It was also invited to be the Chai and Food Partner for the Wellness & Chai event organised by WomenListed, curating and guiding the preparation of a 13-item Ayurvedic menu aligned with traditional principles.

Café Swasthya was further invited to participate in the Global Happiness Festival in Jaipur, where it set up a food and tea stall and engaged audiences through conversations on Ayurveda and holistic well-being. The brand also collaborated with educational institutions, serving as the health partner for a skating tournament at Vivekananda School and providing curated cookie packs for Lady Shri Ram College’s international academic conference.

Operationally, the café has strengthened its capabilities by upgrading bulk cake, muffin and cookie packaging, enabling safe long-distance delivery of freshly baked products across multiple parts of India within 24 hours.

With its second outlet now operational, Café Swasthya continues to build spaces that bring together mindful food, traditional wisdom, and sustainable design. Commenting on the expansion, Akshi Khandelwal, Founder of Café Swasthya and Butterfly Ayurveda, said,

“Café Swasthya is more than just about good food. It is about lifestyle transformation. We intend to integrate Ayurvedic wisdom into your everyday life to help you eat better, and live better.”

The brand is also open to exploring select franchise and collaboration opportunities with partners who align with its philosophy of wellness, integrity, and sustainability.
