This campaign, spanning from February 10 to February 11, 2024, aims to engage with citizens at the grassroots level, highlighting the party’s developmental vision and showcasing the government’s achievements over the past decade.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has kickstarted its ‘Gaon Chalo Abhiyan’ initiative in Gujarat, gearing up for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. With a focus on grassroots engagement, the campaign seeks to elucidate the BJP’s welfare agenda and emphasize the developmental strides made under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Scheduled to take place from February 10 to February 11, 2024, the ‘Gaon Chalo Abhiyan’ will span across all booths in the state of Gujarat. During this two-day period, dedicated workers will immerse themselves in assigned villages or booths, acting as ‘Visiting Workers’ to foster direct interaction with the local populace. With a total of 56,700 participants, including visiting workers and convenors, spread across 41 districts and urban areas, the BJP aims to amplify its outreach and engagement efforts.

Key figures within the party, including state office bearers, ministers, MLAs, and district-level functionaries, will actively participate in the campaign, underscoring the BJP’s commitment to grassroots mobilization and citizen-centric governance.

A highlight of the ‘Gaon Chalo Abhiyan’ is the involvement of Gujarat’s Chief Minister, Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel, who is slated to partake in the initiative firsthand. On February 10, 2024, Chief Minister Patel will visit the home of a dedicated worker in Jalotra village, situated in the Banaskantha district. During his stay, Chief Minister Patel will engage with the worker’s family, share insights on various government schemes, and discuss the BJP’s vision for inclusive development.

The ‘Gaon Chalo Abhiyan’ serves as a platform for the BJP to connect with citizens at the grassroots, garner support for its policies, and gather feedback directly from the people. As the Lok Sabha elections draw closer, initiatives like these play a crucial role in shaping public opinion and galvanizing electoral support for the ruling party.

With a strong emphasis on inclusivity and community engagement, the BJP’s ‘Gaon Chalo Abhiyan’ underscores its commitment to grassroots democracy and participatory governance, setting the stage for a spirited electoral contest in the state of Gujarat.
