Shameemudheen of Calicut was named Player of the Match for his outstanding defensive display.

With Indian badminton ace H.S. Prannoy in attendance, the match unfolded as a gripping contest of momentum shifts and nerves. Bengaluru clinched the opening two sets before Calicut fought back valiantly to level the score and force a decider.
