Ahmedabad: Ahmedabad-born singer-songwriter Brijesh Sarin is set to make waves in the industry. His first official track, titled “Afeem,” debuted last Friday on streaming services including Spotify, Apple Music, Gaana, and Wynk. The music video for the song debuted with the song on YouTube, where it is rapidly rising in views.

The 24-year-old Brijesh has been receiving rave reviews for his riveting shows at major music festivals in India, including Zomaland. Brijesh is not only an accomplished musician, but also the owner of the cutting-edge facility where Afeem was recorded.

An upbeat pop-rock ballad, “Afeem” brilliantly conveys the purity of young love. The song is certain to get listeners up and moving with its pulsating blend of driving percussion, soaring guitars, and funky bass lines. Tanvi Malhara, who is also featured in the music video for the song, is directed by Ashish Rajput.

With the release of my first single, Afeem, I’d want to express my gratitude to everyone who has supported me over the years. Afeem is autobiographical, but I think everyone will find something of themselves in the narrative. Although the song’s production was a lot of fun, it was also a lot of effort. If you like music, I think you’ll really like it,” Brijesh remarked.

As the first song from his forthcoming debut album, End Of Teenage, Afeem marks the beginning of Brijesh’s artistic career. From the naivety of first love to the intricacies of grief, perplexity, new experiences, being lost, and worry, the album’s eight songs cover it all. The album’s lyrics develop and take the listener on an emotional trip during its course.

The second single from the End of Teenage album, Toota, will be released in November as fans groove to the melodies on Afeem. Fans of moving tunes will be pleased to know that more of this is on the way.
