AHMEDABAD, GUJARAT : Following the recent wave of bomb threats in Delhi, several schools in Ahmedabad have also received similar threats today, causing concern among students, parents, and staff. The concerning situation has led to a quick reaction from authorities, as police and bomb squads have been dispatched to the affected institutions.

Reports  indicate that several schools in Ahmedabad have received bomb threats through email. There are suspicions that the emails may have originated from a server in Russia, which has led to concerns and prompted an investigation.

“Today, a police spokesperson acknowledged the bomb threats that were received by several schools in the city,” the spokesperson said. “Our teams have arrived at the schools and are currently conducting a thorough investigation, with the assistance of bomb squads.” Ensuring the well-being of students and staff is our utmost concern.

This incident has a strong similarity to the events that occurred in Delhi on May 1st. Several schools in the national capital were targeted with threats, causing a widespread security concern throughout the city. Thankfully, a thorough search conducted by bomb disposal squads and fire services did not uncover any suspicious findings.

After the recent incident in Delhi, Education Minister Atishi issued a statement to reassure the public. “Fortunately, after conducting a comprehensive inspection of all the schools at risk in Delhi, no alarming findings were reported,” she stated. “Ensuring the well-being of our students and educators is of utmost importance, and we have zero tolerance for any actions that aim to disturb the educational setting.”

As the investigation into the Ahmedabad threats continues, authorities are reminding the public to stay calm and vigilant. If you notice anything out of the ordinary, it is important to contact the authorities right away. This incident is a clear indication of how crucial it is to have proper safety measures in place at schools and to remain constantly alert.
