A talk show on ‘criminal justice system and code of criminal procedure’ organized at Gajera Vidhyabhavan at Utran.

Surat: The Gajera Vidhyabhavan, Utran had organized a talk show titled ‘criminal justice system and code of criminal procedure’ to provide its students and parents with thorough information about the Indian laws, their uses, and the process of the Indian judicial system here on Friday.

Retired additional district and sessions judge, Niranjan Vyas conducted the talk show and provided the students and parents with valuable information on the Indian judicial system, the criminal procedure code, criminal justice system in India, why and where to complain about various types of crimes, criminal offense, etc.

Justice Vyas also had a detailed discussion on the rules for arresting a crime accused,  How does an accused gets bail, what is the procedure for taking witness testimony, and detailed information on alimony and related clauses and procedures as per Indian law.

The entire talk show was organized by the students under the guidance of Dr. Ritesh Agarwal, Principal of the school, and with the cooperation of Chhayaben Bhathawala, Deputy Principal of the school.
