Bigg Boss 20 contestant Amrapali Dubey has revealed how an unexpected connection from Bigg Boss 6 helped her enter Bhojpuri cinema. The actress recalled how Santosh Shukla introduced her to Bhojpuri superstar Dinesh Lal Yadav, popularly known as Nirahua, eventually leading to her debut in Nirahua Hindustani. During a recent conversation with her fellow Bigg Boss 20 contestants, Amrapali recalled how she was working in Hindi television before entering the Bhojpuri film industry.

She explained that Dinesh Lal Yadav was a contestant on Bigg Boss 6 along with actor Santosh Shukla. Amrapali had previously worked with Shukla on television.

According to Amrapali, Nirahua was discussing his upcoming film with Shukla inside the Bigg Boss house and was looking for a fresh face for the project.

How Santosh Shukla Recommended Amrapali

Amrapali said Nirahua wanted to introduce a new actress who could be accepted by the Bhojpuri audience. Since Santosh Shukla already knew Amrapali through their television work, he suggested her name to Nirahua.

That recommendation eventually resulted in Amrapali being cast opposite Nirahua in Nirahua Hindustani. ABP Live also reported that Shukla’s recommendation helped open the door for Amrapali’s Bhojpuri debut.
