OpenAI has introduced a new sticker-making feature in ChatGPT that lets users turn ideas, reactions, pets, inside jokes and other personal moments into custom sticker packs.
The feature is powered by ChatGPT Images 2.0, the company’s latest image-generation model. Users can describe what they want through a prompt, and ChatGPT Images can generate a collection of stickers based on that idea.
A single sticker pack can contain up to nine stickers, while users can choose from up to 18 visual styles. The available styles include options such as Anime, 3D and Holographic, giving users different ways to customise the appearance of their stickers.
Once a sticker pack has been created, users can download the stickers or share them directly through WhatsApp and iMessage. They can also remix stickers with emojis to further customise their creations.
How to create custom stickers in ChatGPT
Creating a sticker pack is relatively simple:
Open ChatGPT: The sticker-making feature is available on the ChatGPT mobile app globally and can be used for free.
Enter a prompt: Describe the sticker pack you want to create. This could be a character, reaction, pet or an inside joke. For example, users could ask ChatGPT to create “a cute sticker pack of my kitten.”
Customise and share: ChatGPT Images generates the sticker pack based on the prompt. Users can select a preferred style, remix stickers with emojis and then download or share them through WhatsApp or iMessage.
ChatGPT sticker feature availability
The new sticker-making feature is available globally on mobile ChatGPT and is free to use. It is powered by ChatGPT Images 2.0, which also brings improvements to instruction following, image detail and the ability to handle more complex image-generation requests.
The updated image model can also generate images containing dense, more accurate text and supports more advanced image creation and editing. Users can refine generated images through additional prompts and make changes to specific parts of an image.
With the addition of custom stickers, ChatGPT gives users another way to turn simple ideas and personal moments into content they can use in everyday conversations.
