Nayan Verma, Founder & Co- Founder – Training Basket Having built India’s most outcome-driven IT training institution on zero external capital and 100% placement focus, Training Basket now sets its sights on the next chapter — deeper Tier-2 penetration, expanded AI curriculum architecture, and a corporate training vertical positioned for enterprise scale. Noida (Uttar Pradesh) [India], August 10: Training Basket, India’s fastest-growing bootstrapped IT training and certification institution, has formally crossed the 2 lakh student milestone in 2026 — and is using the occasion not for retrospection, but for acceleration. The institution, founded by Nayan Verma and Rishabh Raj, has simultaneously announced the next phase of its national growth strategy — a structured expansion plan targeting deeper Tier-2 city penetration, accelerated AI-integrated curriculum rollout across all six training verticals, and the scaling of a corporate training infrastructure that has already produced its largest multi-location enterprise engagement to date. The 2 lakh milestone, achieved without a single rupee of venture capital and without the performance marketing infrastructure that defined the EdTech boom years, is the foundation on which the next phase is being built. It is not the ceiling.

The Milestone in Context

Two lakh students trained, certified, and placed across India’s technology hiring market is a number that carries specific weight in the current EdTech environment. It is a number built entirely on placement outcomes — on the referral networks that placed graduates generate, on the corporate renewal contracts that satisfied L&D teams renew, and on the institutional credibility that accumulates when an institute consistently delivers what it promises. It is not a registration count, a free trial figure, or a platform activation metric. “The 2 lakh number is a placement number,” says Nayan Verma, CEO and Founder of Training Basket. “It represents students who completed structured programmes, cleared assessments, built real-world project portfolios, and secured employment in India’s technology sector. That is what we are celebrating — and that is the standard the next phase will be held to.” Graduates from Training Basket’s programmes are currently working at TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Nokia Solutions Network, Hyland Software Solutions, Velocis Systems, C-Zentrix, and Eastern Software Systems — a placement record built across six training verticals and five consecutive years of uninterrupted enrolment growth.

The Next Growth Phase: Three Strategic Priorities

Training Basket’s next phase of growth is structured around three execution priorities that reflect both the opportunities the institution has identified and the gaps its student outcomes have revealed in the broader market. Priority One: Tier-2 City Expansion. Training Basket’s online delivery infrastructure has demonstrated consistent placement outcomes for students in cities without access to comparable institutional training locally. The next phase formalises this reach — with dedicated online cohort structures, regional career advisory support, and employer connect programmes calibrated to the hiring ecosystems of Tier-2 technology markets including Jaipur, Lucknow, Indore, Coimbatore, and Kochi. Priority Two: AI-Integrated Curriculum Across All Verticals. The institution has already deployed generative AI integration within its Data Analytics and Digital Marketing programmes. The next phase extends this architecture to Web Development, Cloud and DevOps, and Cybersecurity tracks — embedding AI-augmented tooling not as supplementary content but as core workflow instruction that mirrors how practitioners in each discipline are working in production environments today. “The question we ask at every curriculum review is the same,” says Rishabh Raj, COO and Co-Founder of Training Basket. “What does a professional in this role use on a Tuesday afternoon in 2026? Whatever the answer is, that is what we teach. AI has changed the answer in every vertical we operate in. Our curriculum is following the evidence.” Priority Three: Corporate Training at Enterprise Scale. Training Basket’s corporate vertical — which recently formalised its largest multi-location enterprise agreement — will scale through a structured B2B engagement model targeting IT services firms, BFSI enterprises, and Global Capability Centres running parallel digital transformation and workforce development mandates. The focus remains on multi-cohort, outcome-accountable engagements rather than single-session training purchases.

The Standard That Does Not Change

Across each of these three expansion priorities, Training Basket’s leadership has been unambiguous about the one operational standard that the growth phase will not compromise: placement outcomes. Every new city cohort, every AI-integrated curriculum module, and every corporate training deployment will be measured against the same KPI that has governed the institution’s first five years and 2 lakh students — the percentage of participants who achieve a relevant, verified employment or competency outcome within ninety days of programme completion. “We did not reach 2 lakh by promising outcomes and delivering certificates,” says Nayan Verma. “We reached 2 lakh by delivering outcomes and letting the certificates follow. The next phase runs on exactly the same logic — at a larger scale, in more cities, across more verticals, and inside more enterprise organisations.” Enrolments for all Training Basket programmes, including the Summer Training Internship 2026, are currently open at trainingbasket.in.
