New Delhi [India], June 06: Observed globally on June 7, World Food Safety Day raises awareness about preventing foodborne risks and ensuring the safety of what we eat. The 2026 theme, “From burden to solutions – safe food everywhere,” underscores the urgent need for robust food safety systems, science-backed solutions, and responsible manufacturing practices across the entire nutrition industry. For infants and young children, whose immune systems are still developing, food safety is paramount. Even minor lapses in hygiene or quality control can significantly impact early-life health. This places an elevated layer of responsibility on companies operating within infant and clinical nutrition. In observance of World Food Safety Day, Nutribray, an Indian manufacturer specializing in infant formula, infant cereals, growing-up nutrition, maternal care, and specialized hypoallergenic nutrition, reaffirms its commitment to quality-focused manufacturing. The company firmly believes that safe nutrition begins long before a product ever reaches a family. It starts at the very beginning with strict ingredient selection, rigid hygiene protocols, and continuous quality monitoring. A major milestone for the company is becoming the first Indian manufacturer to be accredited with 7 BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) licenses. This achievement reflects Nutribray’s continuous efforts to maintain high quality standards across various nutrition categories, including infant formula and specialized products. Nutribray’s portfolio features the BrayMil nutrition range and BrayLac cereal range, both produced under highly regulated environments designed specifically for early-life nutrition. While strictly adhering to all regulatory and ethical guidelines regarding infant nutrition communication in India, the company remains dedicated to raising awareness about manufacturing quality, food safety, and responsible practices. According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO), unsafe food affects nearly 600 million people worldwide every year. Children under the age of five bear a disproportionately high burden of these foodborne illnesses. Consequently, both the WHO and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) emphasize that foods created for infants and young children must meet the strictest microbiological safety standards through controlled processing and ongoing quality checks. To address these vulnerabilities, Nutribray integrates rigorous quality control measures across multiple manufacturing stages. Every step from raw material sourcing and testing through to processing, packaging, and final evaluations is meticulously monitored to ensure consistency, safety, and hygiene.
“Food safety is not only about meeting regulations; it is about protecting trust,” noted a spokesperson from Nutribray. “Parents today are highly informed and deeply aware of nutrition safety. From basic infant cereals to specialized medical formulas, every product line requires scientific precision, continuous monitoring, and responsible manufacturing.”
Global research and WHO guidelines consistently show that stronger food safety infrastructure drastically reduces contamination risks, enhances nutritional quality, and protects public health. Experts emphasize that clean production environments, proper storage, and ironclad quality assurance protocols are the bedrock of reliable infant and clinical nutrition. On World Food Safety Day 2026, Nutribray stands by its pledge to champion safe nutrition manufacturing through quality-driven systems and continuous improvement across its entire portfolio. Because when it comes to infants and specialized care, safety is more than just a factory protocol; it is a responsibility that fosters healthier beginnings, steadier growth, and a safer future for families.
