Bhuj, Gujarat – Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, on a high-stakes two-day visit to Gujarat, issued a stern warning to Pakistan, stating that “Operation Sindoor is just a trailer. When the time comes, we’ll show the full picture.” Addressing soldiers and officers at Bhuj Airbase on Friday, Singh reaffirmed India’s hardened stance against terrorism, declaring that “a new India has been born — one that strikes back.”

In a fiery address, Singh stated that the ongoing ceasefire with Pakistan is conditional and based on the latter’s behavior. “Pakistan is on probation. If it attempts to disrupt peace again, the response will be far more severe,” he warned. He added that India follows the path of ‘Satyam Samachar’ – tit for tat, and the military has both the heart for peace and the fist to crush aggression.

Singh also called out Pakistan’s alleged plan to provide ₹14 crore in public funds to terrorist Masood Azhar and accused the country of using International Monetary Fund (IMF) loans for terror financing. “Is this not terror funding? The IMF must rethink any aid to Pakistan,” he demanded.

Reflecting on Operation Sindoor, which was led by the Indian Air Force, Singh praised the rapid precision of the operation: “In just 23 minutes, our brave soldiers crushed the terror infrastructure that had taken years to build. That’s the power of today’s India.” He added that India no longer relies solely on foreign weapons, with indigenous technology like BrahMos missiles and DRDO’s Akash systems now forming the backbone of India’s defence.

Recalling a recent incident, Singh said, “When enemy drones entered our skies, citizens didn’t flee – they took videos of our defence systems in action. That’s the new India.” He emphasized that India’s air power is capable of hitting every inch of Pakistani territory without crossing the border.

Singh was joined at Bhuj by Air Force Chief Air Marshal A.P. Singh, where he held discussions with senior officials from the Air Force, BSF, and Indian Army, reviewing border security and preparedness. He is also scheduled to visit sensitive areas along the India-Pakistan border in Gujarat.

“What you achieved in Operation Sindoor has made every Indian proud. You’ve shown the world that India will not tolerate terror — not for a moment longer,” he concluded. “Bhuj, which witnessed victories in 1965 and 1971, has now witnessed another historic success.”
