Gandhinagar : On the second day of the 11th Chintan Shibir, held at Somnath, Gujarat made significant strides toward integrating deep technology and artificial intelligence (AI) into governance. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel attended a keynote session focusing on ‘Use of Deep Tech for Strengthening Government Services’ and ‘A.I. and Data Analytics.’

Highlighting Gujarat’s vision to become a model state for AI, Halani emphasised the role of technology in improving accessibility to government schemes and streamlining management.
AI for Governance and Public Welfare
During his presentation, Jigar Halani demonstrated the capabilities of AI, including its use in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popular radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’. With AI, the program can now be accessed in 23 languages, ensuring a wider reach. He also discussed AI’s growing role in enhancing efficiency in legal systems and courts.
Halani presented innovative strategies to make public welfare campaigns more effective. By leveraging AI, the government can identify and reach underserved populations more efficiently, ensuring services are delivered to those who need them most.
Boosting Local Arts and Employment with AI
Gujarat’s rich culture, arts, and heritage also found a prominent place in the discussion. Halani explained how AI can spotlight local artisans and their crafts on global platforms.
