Ahmedabad : In a bid to realign the focus of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) social media workers, CR Paatil, the state president of the ruling party, issued a stern directive, urging them to shift their attention from trivial messages like “good morning” and “good night” to highlighting the achievements and initiatives of the Narendra Modi government.

Paatil’s directive came during his special tour of Saurashtra ahead of the upcoming elections, where he engaged with grassroots workers and social media teams. Scheduled to attend multiple programs across Rajkot and Surendranagar, Patil utilized the opportunity to convey his dissatisfaction with the social media team’s performance, particularly regarding their messaging strategy.

Addressing the Saurashtra Social Media Meet event, Paatil minced no words as he admonished the social media workers for their failure to meet expectations. He emphasized the need to cease the circulation of unnecessary messages and false statements, urging instead a focus on promoting the numerous schemes and developmental works undertaken by the central government.

During the event, Paatil stressed the importance of disseminating accurate information and refraining from engaging in unnecessary rhetoric or spreading misinformation on social media platforms. He underscored the pivotal role of BJP members in leveraging social media to effectively communicate the government’s initiatives to the masses.

Paatil’s directives included specific instructions to ensure that posts from prominent leaders such as the Prime Minister, Chief Minister, MPs, and MLAs gain maximum visibility. He encouraged activists to refrain from responding to detractors and instead concentrate on promoting government schemes and initiatives.

Furthermore, Paatil provided guidance on the effective use of hashtags, suggesting the adoption of hashtags such as “Phir Ek Bar Modi Sarkar” and “Abaki Bar 400 Par” to amplify the reach of their posts.

In an off-record statement made in Rajkot, Patil addressed the controversy surrounding Parshottam Rupala’s remarks about the Kshatriya Samaj. He indicated ongoing discussions with the leaders of the community, expressing optimism that the matter would be resolved expeditiously.
