Gujarat : Mamlatdar Files Complaint Against Couple for Bogus Election Card in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad : A disturbing case of document forgery has surfaced in Ahmedabad as the city mamlatdar lodged a complaint against a couple for allegedly using forged documents to obtain election cards. The accused individuals resorted to deception by submitting fake residency proofs, prompting an investigation into the fraudulent activity.

The accused couple, identified as Mohammad Suman Hossain and Reena Begum Bhairuddin, came under scrutiny after applying for an election card using a counterfeit electricity bill as their residential proof. Upon closer examination by the mamlatdar office, suspicions arose, leading to a thorough verification of all submitted documents, including the fraudulent electricity bill.

Ronak Patel, serving as the City Mamlatdar at Gota Mehsul Bhawan in Ahmedabad, wasted no time in taking legal action against the perpetrators. Upon discovering discrepancies in the documents, Patel promptly filed a complaint at the Sola Police Station against Mohammad Suman Hossain and Reena Begum Bhairuddin for their involvement in creating bogus documents.

The investigation unfolded when Ronak Patel, while verifying the documents, noticed inconsistencies in the details provided. Upon further scrutiny, it was revealed that the presented electricity bill contained conflicting customer numbers, raising red flags about its authenticity. Subsequent inquiries uncovered that Begum Reena Baharuddin had applied online for an election card using falsified documents, including a PAN card and the questionable electricity bill.

Prompt action was taken as Ronak Patel immediately alerted the authorities upon discovering the fraudulent activity. The Sola Police Station swiftly registered a case, acknowledging the seriousness of the matter, and initiated a comprehensive investigation to uncover the motives behind the couple’s attempt to obtain the election card through deceit.
