Swarrnim Science College observes World AIDS Day

Ahmedabad : Swarrnim Science College celebrated World AIDS Day to spread awareness, promote prevention, and stand together against HIV/AIDS on December 1.

A total of 80 students participated in different activities as a part of the event. The event started with a prayer, followed by a presentation, speech, slogans, and storytelling. The Principal, Heads of Departments, and faculty members actively participated in addressing the crucial issue of HIV infection and prevention.

The students wore white clothes adorned with red ribbons symbolizing a collective commitment to solidarity and compassion. The red ribbon, an iconic symbol of HIV/AIDS awareness, serves as an emotional reminder of the ongoing efforts to combat the disease.

The involvement of international students adds a valuable global perspective, fostering a sense of unity and shared responsibility in the fight against HIV/AIDS. The collective effort of students, faculty, and international students contributed to educating about the intricacies of HIV to the entire college community.
