Ahmedabad : The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has provided a weather forecast–IMD Forecast–for the upcoming 24 hours, indicating dry conditions and a drop in temperatures across Ahmedabad and other regions of the state. However, South Gujarat is anticipated to experience light, unseasonal rain.

Manorama Mohanti, the director of IMD’s Ahmedabad station, shared insights with the media on Wednesday, stating, “Over the next 4 to 5 days, Ahmedabad is unlikely to witness any rainfall, with dry weather prevailing. Cloud cover may persist in certain parts of the state, and districts like Dang, Tapi, Valsad, and Navsari might experience sporadic light rain.” Mohanti also projected a potential rise in daytime temperatures by two to three degrees in the coming days, accompanied by a decrease of about one degree in nighttime temperatures.

Notably, on Tuesday night, Ahmedabad recorded a minimum temperature of 18.2 degrees Celsius, while Gandhinagar registered 18 degrees Celsius. The lowest temperature was reported in Kutch’s Naliya at 13.6 degrees Celsius.
