Surat : Doctors community in Surat is reeling under shock following the suicide committed by Dr. Uday Patel, a highly respected senior doctor and the administrator of a prominent hospital in the area. Dr. Patel, aged 55, reportedly took his own life in an act that has left the medical fraternity and the local residents stunned.

The distressing incident unfolded on Wednesday morning at the Uday Patel Hospital in Tadwadi, Adajan. Dr. Uday Patel, known for his proficiency as an MD Physician and his residence in Patelnagar society in Adajan Patia, was discovered in an unconscious state within his chamber. It was revealed that he had injected himself with a fatal dose of Novex, a toxic substance.
