Surat : The Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) has released demand survey forms for plots at the PM MITRA Park, which has been sanctioned by the Government of India and is located in Vansi Borsi village in the Jalalpore taluka of Navsari. The forms have been widely distributed by the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) among textile industry stakeholders in order for them to submit their comments as soon as possible.

On Tuesday, SGCCI got a communication from Dr. Rahul Gupta, vice-chairman and MD of GIDC, requesting that the demand survey forms for the plots at the PM MITRA Park in Vansi Borsi be widely distributed to textile companies. The GIDC’s website now has a live demand survey form.

PM MITRA Park will increase the state’s textile and apparel sector’s stake and provide cutting-edge facilities for the sector.  This park will have multiple facilities such as spinning, weaving, dying, and printing all in one location, as well as the ability to create world class plug and play infrastructure and amenities, a hub for training, research, and innovation, boost exports by strengthening the sector’s competitiveness, and assist in achieving economies of scale.

“Interested industrialists are requested to fill out the online demand survey form,” said Himanshu Bodawala, president of SGCCI. The procedure will provide the GIDC management with a fair understanding of plot allocation at PM MITRA Park.”
