Bengaluru : The Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai will play host to the 21st edition of IAAPI Expo 2023, a trade show devoted solely to the amusement, leisure, and entertainment sectors of the Indian economy. The three-day event will take place from March 1 to 3, 2023, and will serve as a showcase for major Indian and international brands to introduce their newest offerings to the relevant communities. The Indian government’s Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) is sponsoring the three-day expo. The prestigious partner states of the expo are Uttar Pradesh Tourism and Madhya Pradesh Tourism.

“As the head of the Indian amusement park industry’s trade group, I want to stress the role that amusement parks play in boosting India’s overall tourism industry. Our company is instrumental in bolstering and propelling India’s entertainment sector forward. Our goal all along has been to offer the best tools in the business, encourage people to work together, and spur creative thinking. In India, the amusement industry has a bright future ahead of it thanks to the rising demand for fun and secure leisure activities. We at IAAPI are thrilled to be pioneers in a field with so much potential and promise for the future.” IAAPI Chairman Rajeev Jalnapurkar made this statement.

IAAPI Trade Show Chairman Nirmalsinh Rana made the following statement: “For the 21st time, we are honoured to play host to the IAAPI Amusement Expo. Even though it’s been three years since our last visit, the anticipation is through the roof this time around! Our booth bookings have reached an all-time high, and we attribute this to the booming Indian entertainment sector. As a result, we expect a huge turnout from our members and attractions all over the Indian subcontinent.”

To paraphrase Yogesh Dange, IAAPI Trade Show Vice Chairman: “An exhibition’s sole intent is to serve as a meeting place for the entire industry. The Theme Park Tourism Market is expected to grow from its projected value of USD 49.1 billion in 2022 to USD 166.67 billion by 2032, at a CAGR of 13% from 2022-2032, according to several market research reports. IAAPI was founded in response to this anticipated expansion of the market by providing a forum for industry professionals to network and collaborate.”

Trade professionals, including decision-makers from Amusement & Theme Parks, Water Park and Indoor Amusement Centre operators, Architects, Resorts & Hotel Chains, Government Officials, Real Estate & Mall Developer, Municipal & Local Authorities, Consultants, Museums & Science Centers, Historic / Tourism Attractions, will attend the exhibition, which is being hosted by the Indian Association of Amusement Parks and Industries (IAAPI). Professionals from all over the Indian Subcontinent, such as Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka, will be attending the trade show.

The exhibition is set to host over 135+ exhibitors from 14 countries, including Bulgaria, Canada, China, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Liechtenstein, Singapore, Taiwan, Netherlands, UAE, United Kingdom, USA, bringing together a comprehensive range of products and services offered by the industry under one roof; providing an opportunity to interact with the end-users. The platform will serve as an ideal business environment to explore new avenues of growth for members within the industry. Apart from business transactions, the exhibition also provides exposure to international trends through its many foreign participants.

The three-day exhibition will also serve as a knowledge hub for members within the industry, providing participants with a platform to share and learn new ideas. Here, leaders and stalwarts of the industry will share their learning, innovative ideas, schemes, and experience that may help those aspiring to get into the industry. Many important issues related to the amusement industry will also be discussed in depth.

The exhibition will also be hosting the National Amusement Awards for Excellence 2023, which will aim to acknowledge and honour the individuals and organizations that have left a mark in the Amusement, Leisure & Entertainment Industry of India.

IAAPI Expo 2023 is presented by the Indian Association of Amusement Parks and Industries (IAAPI) – an apex body representing the interests of Amusement Parks, Theme Parks, Water Parks, and Indoor Amusement Centres in India. IAAPI is a recognized, non-government, not-for-profit, industry-led, and industry-managed organization playing a proactive role in the development of this sector. IAAPI represents location-based entertainment facilities, including amusement and theme parks, snow parks, indoor amusement centres, arcades, museums, water parks, aquariums, science centres, zoos, bowling alleys, and resorts. It also represents industry equipment manufacturers, distributors, operators, industry suppliers, and service providers.
